America: "The Worst Nation That Has Ever Been Great"

The Democratic National Convention has finally come to a screeching halt. I say “screeching” because Hillary Clinton’s oratorical abilities are, at times, questionable at best. And although watching Bernie Sanders appear to suck a lemon whilst moving to officially nominate Hillary Clinton was quite enjoyable, most of the rest of the DNC tended to be quite trying.             It’s not the people, it’s not even the lies (although that does get very tiresome). It’s the inconsistency . It’s the saying one thing for years and years, then turning around and saying the exact opposite in the next sentence while pretending you’ve been saying that all along.             I think the word I’m searching for is ‘hypocrisy”. That gets very old. Very, very old.             The Democrats have never sounded more full throatedly patriotic than they have this past week (commentators are using the word “Reaganesque” to describe Obama’s DNC speech!) Now why might that be?

George Washington: "Went to Church, Fasted All Day."

As the GOP convention draws to a close, America awakes to the fact that all of our problems are still right where we left them. ISIS, police shootings, unrest in foreign countries, the national debt, Hillary Clinton …. And the list goes on. During the last several weeks, observing the murder of the police officers in Dallas and subsequently in Baton Rouge, it struck me anew that whatever we are doing is not working. And when something you are doing fails repeatedly, it is time to try something different. The following succinctly lays out where we’re at, where we came from, and what we must do now to survive as a nation Our Solution is Not Working: America’s Modern Day Response to Crises Domestic Tragedies During Obama’s Presidency Fort Hood, Tucson: the shooting of Gabby Giffords, Aurora movie theater shooting, Binghamton, New York, Wisconsin Sikh temple shooting, Sandy Hook Elementary, Navy Yard shooting, Kansas Jewish Community Center shooting, Charleston church s

Consistently Inconsistent

Since honesty is apparently too much to ask for in America these days (*cough* Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama *cough*...), I thought we’d lower the bar a bit and just ask for a bit of consistency. Bernie Sanders’ Endorsement of Hillary Clinton Sanders: “Hillary Clinton understands that we must fix an economy in America that is rigged and that sends almost all new wealth and income to the top one percent.” “She believes that we should raise the minimum wage to a living wage.” “This election is about the grotesque level of income and wealth inequality that currently exists, the worst it has been since 1928. Hillary Clinton knows that something is very wrong when the very rich become richer while many others are working longer hours for lower wages.” Sanders ran an “inspiring campaign” that was based on “ real principles ”. If he truly believed those principles, one might assume that he would consistently stick to them. Let’s find out if that’s the case. Hillary Clinto

The Rule of Hillary Clinton

Dallas and D.C. It is not coincidence that officers of the law are gunned down in cold blood on American streets the same week that Hillary Clinton , having lied, deceived and broken the law , is essentially exonerated by the FBI, our nation's prime federal law enforcement agency. Police officers are a symbol of the law. Their duty is to “protect and serve”. Like Lady Justice wearing a blindfold and holding a set of scales, our police are charged with enforcing the law in a fair, equal and impartial manner. Police fulfill their duty. And in the rare instances where a rogue officer does not, our system insures that merited punishment is carried out. After laying out Clinton’s “extreme carelessness” and multitudinous lies, FBI Director James Comey did not recommend charges against the former Secretary of State. While it did not surprise anyone, there is a large number of Americans who were disgusted and disillusioned. One of their worst fears, that maybe the system truly is r
